Correct Trimming & Shoeing for Balance & Performance

Philosophy

Jim believes that the horse is the client, just as much as the owner, with one exception; it is the horse that needs to be his main concern. While time is also a concern for business, Jim will not rush through a job or shirk his responsibility to the animal, and will always notify the owner of problems found or noticed at the time.

Jim's background as an instructor and teacher, combined with his ever-growing knowledge and ability to trim and shoe horses, has led him to share every step with those customers who wish to watch, learn, and understand what is being done and why.

Jim believes and says: "to show someone something is meaningless, without explaining the why."

A well-educated owner, trainer, or rider is the best client; and this, in turn, will help to make a more useful, enjoyable and healthier horse.
